Fylde Principal

 Principal

Frank Wareing

 The Principal is the senior member of the College who is responsible to the Council and the Senate of the University for the College finances and for maintaining the effective working and good order of the College.

 

Vice-Principal

 Heather Willes 

 The role of the Vice Principal is to deputise for the Principal, if necessary. Heather works in Undergraduate Admissions and has been a college advisor for many years.

College Administrator

Sue Summers

Sue is your first port of call for all queries or problems. Drop in to the college office for everything from scholarship information, memorabilia, college advisor information, booking the common room and group study room, Lancaster Award information ..or just a chat. 


College Residence Officer

Denise Rutledge

 Denise is responsible for all accommodation related matters within the college. If you have any problems with your rent payment then tell Denise right away. College Senior Advisor

 Shelagh Walsh 

Shelagh is responsible for the welfare and support of Fylde students and in turn supports a team of College Advisors, members of staff who voluntarily assist in the welfare of our students.

 Dean

Jackie Williams

The Dean is a senior member of the College who ensures that there is no breach of university or college rules. She is responsible for all disciplinary matters within the College.

Resident Assistant Deans


There are three resident assistant deans in Fylde. For the year 2012/13 these are Aveline Cruickshank, Ricky Dunn and Mathew Ikediashi. Assistant Deans are postgraduate students who assist the Dean with disciplinary matters and also some welfare issues. You can contact them via the College Office or the Porter’s Lodge if you need them.

College Porters

Mandy Helliwell, Mark Drew, Simon Brookes and Les Davies. College Porters are available 24hrs a day for the majority of the year and are responsible for mail, room keys, and general security in and around the college. You can always ask the porters if you need help or information or if you have any sort of problems day or night.
