Outsider

In 2001, Following several years of experimenting and honing their sound,

Outsider decided that they needed to get out and play live. They played up and down the country for the first 2 years to tighten up and then decided to call upon their production skills, built a studio and started recording all the Outsider demo’s.

In 2005 the band released their first EP “Understanding” with a crappy independent label in Manchester, off the back this they played a session on Radio 2, Kerrang and was playlisted on XFM London, this gave the band more direction with writing and they went away and came up with songs like “Twisted” & “Mute” which iced the Outsider soundcake.

In 2006 Outsider won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest bagging them a publishing deal with EMI and a limited edition CD run, the band was also nominated for best pop at the American Billboard Awards. The band are currently preparing to record with some top producers and there is quite a buzz about the band at the moment, so our quest for world domination is still ongoing………….
