Fylde Goes Global

Fylde goes global is an annual event for ALL students. It aims to increase internationalisation by bringing together a celebration of many different cultures in the form of food, drink, music, dance, dress and many other aspects of a country’s national identity. Students of all backgrounds are more than welcome.
Fylde JCR has teamed up with 6 different societies/countries to bring you this celebration of culture, these are:

  • India
  • Vietnam
  • Bahrain
  • Cyprus
  • Armenia
  • Pakistan

These societies will be making home made dishes of food from their country for you to buy as well as providing us with performances such as traditional dance. It promises to be an unforgettable night where you can not only enjoy yourself but maybe try new things and meet new people!
There will also still be food served from the Bar till 9:30pm for a taste of British food too!

Chinese New Year

Our International Officer is part of a cross campus committee arranging a huge celebration for this year’s Chinese New Year and we are proud to say that this prestigious event will be held in Fylde Bar!
